If you’re a fellow Pretty Little Liars fan like myself, you would have been racking your brain for almost five seasons trying to find out the identity of Rosewood’s most feared stalker “A”. After discovering that Mona was the original A who tortured our beloved Liars, the game was stolen from her whilst she spent time in Radley Sanitarium, the easy to escape psychiatric institution. After the girls turned against back from the dead Ali, after believing she was A, they have now realised that A is framing Alison for Mona’s murder… if Mona’s really dead that is.
It has now been officially released that by the end of the current season we will finally discover who “Big A” is, the person who is behind it all. Whilst there have been revelations of A team members, we have yet to see who the Big man (or woman) on campus is. So who exactly is A? Here’s some possible theories…
Andrew
The lovable nerd has been pretty MIA these past few seasons but now all of a sudden he’s come out of the woodwork tutoring, and kissing, Aria. He was seen last episode popping out of the bushes in Aria’s front lawn waiting for her to come home and made some interesting quotes – “It’s about a shadowy figure who knows about everybody’s secrets?” Plus the guy has an A name and so far it’s been really hard to try and decipher if A is in fact male or female… Is Andrew A or are the writers simply trying to make him look suspicious to get viewers off the scent of the real A?

MonA
She was the original A, and she was planning to fake her own murder, so how do we know it’s still not Mona underneath that hood? Mike told Aria that he wasn’t sure if A double crossed Mona and murdered her for real but what if that’s what Mona want’s everybody to think?
Wren
Although not present for a while now, Wren is still a pretty big possibility. Remember when he was randomly drawing a red coat? And where’s he been all this time? Spencer comes to London to see her sister and Wren and they’re not even there to see her? And what about the blood in Spencer’s bag during her Oxford University interview? Is it possible that it didn’t show up in Airport screeners because it wasn’t in her bag when she left but was placed in her bag in London by A?
EzrA
So a lot of people have forgot about Ezra being A because the writers have already gone down the “make Ezra look suspicious” road and it’s been done but let’s be honest. The dude had cameras hidden pretty much everywhere in Rosewood and had a hideout in Ravenswood, all for a book? Seems a little farfetched. And remember when Aria threw Ezra’s book off the ski lift and we later saw A picking it up? What if A wasn’t finding the book but reclaiming what was theirs?
JAson
Where was he when he went missing and he seduced Ashley… was that all part of a master plan? I don’t think too much time has been spent on Jason but I have not taken him out of the A possibilities.
AriA
There has been a lot of talk about Aria being A and there are a ton of clues that would suggest that Aria is in fact A… is the fact that Aria is the only one of the liars to “shh” in the opening credits a clue? The coordinates of the whereabouts of Mona’s laptop, when searched, leads to a place not far away from “Montgomery”. And let’s not forget Aria’s freak out over not getting in to college. Is it possible she’s been too busy being A to focus on college applications?
T he Other LiArs
At one point or another, each girl has looked a little shifty. Except possibly Emily. So could it be another of the liars? Hanna always wanted to be just like Alison. Spencer was supposedly drugged when Alison went missing and Bethany was murdered. Emily was in love with Alison. Do any of the Liars have enough motive?

It just seems like everything would work if Alison did have a twin, and if it was Bethany, even though she has been "supposedly" murdered by Melissa, accidentally. So many questions would be answered if Bethany was Alison’s twin. There’s just been too many clues. Even little subtle things like Jason telling Alison that there were so many pictures of her as a baby… she had a twin and the pictures are of both of the girls? Or what if somebody else had a twin? There’s been a lot of allusions to twins but this could just be a way to distract the audience.
